نحو فارسی نحوی بس منعطف است به گونه ای که برخی فارسی را زبانی با آرایش سازه ای آزاد می پندارند. در این مقاله با بررسی دو فرایند چپ نشانی و پیشایندسازی در قالب دستور نقش و ارجاع نشان می دهیم که چینش سازه ها در حاشیۀ چپ بند فارسی آزادانه نیست و ماحصل تعامل میان مؤلفه های گفتمان نقشی از یک طرف و جایگاه منحصربه فرد آنها در ساخت لایه ای بند از طرف دیگر می باشد. گفتنی است که استقرار سازه های مقلوب در حاشیه چپ مرکز بند نیازمند احراز شرایط گفتمانی مشخصی می باشد. نیز نشان می دهیم که آرایش های سازه ای نشاندار در حاشیۀ چپ بند فارسی تنها معرف یک جابه جایی نحویِ متأثر از عوامل کابردشناختی نیستند، بلکه هر یک به پیروی از مفهوم ساخت در انگارۀ دستور نقش و ارجاع، نمایشگر یک ساخت دستوری ترتیب سازه ای می باشد.
